On finding her dream home

We’ve owned seven homes in the past and this one really stood out to us as “move in” ready. We didn’t have to change a thing about it. Everything fit perfectly!

We walked in and the kitchen was wonderful, it has that big, open bar. We can fit the children and ourselves, plus friends. It’s a wonderful space to congregate. What’s nice too is that, we have the theater room off the kitchen so they can be in there and Bob and I can be in this room enjoying the big screen TV or we have the piano over here. Catherine can play piano. So it’s a lot of great space we are able to utilize and we enjoy it.

One of the other things I noticed about this house immediately was the incredible woodwork and the solid construction. We have been to so many homes looking around and none of them had the appeal that Hugh’s home had. We were drawn to it because we noticed the incredible hard woods and the solid doors. Every single thing to the last detail was perfect! So, it was “move in” ready, and we didn’t have to change anything. So we’ve really enjoyed it. And I’m planning to stay here for a long time.

We have absolutely loved the experience. Hugh and Hugh II, his son, have been fabulous. We have had very little things to fix but if we’ve had anything at all, they are here immediately. They are both wonderful to work with. I would recommend Hugh to anyone looking to build a home. Or buy a spec home like we did.
